Conjunctivitis

Relieve irritation. Restore comfort and clarity.

Conjunctivitis, commonly known as “pink eye”, is an inflammation of the conjunctiva—the thin, clear tissue covering the white part of the eye and the inside of the eyelids. It can affect one or both eyes and is a very common eye condition.

Types of Conjunctivitis

  1. Viral Conjunctivitis
Caused by a virus, often associated with the common cold. It’s highly contagious and usually clears up on its own.

  2. Bacterial Conjunctivitis
Caused by bacteria and may produce more discharge. Often treated with antibiotic eye drops.

  3. Allergic Conjunctivitis
Triggered by allergens like dust, pollen, or pet dander. Not contagious and often seasonal.

  4. Irritant Conjunctivitis
Caused by exposure to chemicals, smoke, or chlorine in swimming pools.
